No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Instructional Assistants The Alameda County Office of Education has updated the way we administer the Instructional Assistant/Paraeducator examination. The complete exam is now an NCLB compliant, computer-based exam comprised of 100 questions and four sections: · Ability to Assist · Mathematics · Reading Comprehension · English/Language Arts Alameda County Office of Education Paraprofessional Exam Schedule: Para NCLB Exam PLEASE NOTE: December 10, 2010 is the last partial examination session offered. Effective January 2011, those who have not passed all sections of the written IA Exam, will be required to take the complete computer-based IA Exam. For certification, a minimum overall passing score of 70% is REQUIRED. |
