Water Cycle Unit Weather: August 28th, 2012 Welcome back to school. Science is everywhere in life and we, as living things, depend vitally on many aspects of science working correctly so we can make it through our days. The fifth grade science core curriculum is amazing and dives into more details on concepts you have already learned, like the solar system for instance. I am excited to work with you this year and want you to get excited as well. It's never top early to open your mind and ask questions about "things" going on all around you. How do we know there is air? Why are some plants deciduous and others evergreen? Where did the first star come from? So many questions to ask/answer and so much fun involved in investigating these questions. Our first unit deals with the scientific method. Begin to think about concepts in science that interest you and you may find it to be a topic that could be used for the Science Fair in March. See you soon. Look to the night sky!
