Kindergarten Registration Information For the 2013-2014 School Year Kindergarten Registration is currently being accepted at your school of residence
This information sheet will provide you with the same information listed below. This checklist is designed to help you look at your child's physical, social, emotional and cognitive development and contains items that are important to your child's success in kindergarten. IN ORDER TO COMPLETE THE REGISTRATION PROCESS YOU MUST BRING A COPY OF THE FOLLOWING: (if possible & in order to expedite the process, please bring copies of the documents that the school can keep)
Registration will take place at your neighborhood school. If you have a need for childcare or questions regarding childcare, please call the following organizations for information. Please be advised that the district does not provide after school childcare. EDCC (Extended Day Child Care on campus): Child Care Links (Non Profit Child Care referral program): (925) 417-8733 PLEASE NOTE: California law, Education Code 49452.8, requires that all incoming kindergarten students must have an oral health assessment (dental check-up) by May 31. Oral health assessments that happen within the 12 months before your child enters school also meet this requirement. The law specifies that the assessment must be done by a licensed dentist or other licensed or registered dental health professional. You may download the form here. |
