John Green Elementary School Presents a New Vision for a New School

John Green Elementary is the Dublin Unified School District's newest school, which opened in August of 2007.

When it reaches capacity, this state of the art facility will provide an exceptional educational opportunity to over 700 K-5 students in the Dublin Ranch area of the city.

John Green School is the area's benchmark educational facility, exemplifying Dublin's already high standards for technology and instructional expertise. Keith Nomura, a 33 plus year veteran of education and a seasoned administrator, has brought together some of Dublin's finest teachers and support staff, who are all enthusiastically working towards making Green become what will be, as Principal Nomura puts it, “Not a good school, but a GREAT school!”

Dublin already has a wonderful reputation as a community that strongly supports education. Dublin history shows that whenever new schools have opened, they have been the beneficiaries of exceedingly active Parent–Faculty Clubs (PFC) and their campuses regularly teem with scores of volunteers. The John Green School community is no exception to that.
