    Upcoming after-school family workshops in Rm. 130:

     

    • Monday, February 10th, 1-2pm DK and K; 2:05-3pm 1st-5th.  We will practice the online ELPAC tests together.
    • Monday, February 24th, 1-2pm DK and K; 2:05-3pm 1st-5th.  We will have Dublin Public Library's librarians visit and show us the online resources available, such as free online homework help!

    My name is Sarah Ansari, and I am very excited to be starting a new year as the English Language Development (ELD) Specialist at Dougherty Elementary School, and joining the secondary teams once per week! This is my sixth year in the Dublin Unified School District, and I have previously worked as an ELD Specialist at Green, Amador, and Dublin Elementary Schools . I have taught in Alameda Unified School District, Mountain View-Whisman School District, La Honda-Pescadero Unified School District, Pajaro Valley Unified School District, and in Colorado.  In addition to teaching ELD, I have taught Kindergarten, 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade, Elementary School Reading Intervention, and ESL at a Community College. I feel extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to continue working with the students, staff and families at Dougherty Elementary School, and join the secondary teams!
