Kindergarten!I am so excited to be yourKindergarten Teacher this year!I love being a teacher! I have taught multiple subjects in grades K-6 for the past 18 years. Kindergarten is a beautiful age group and my favorite grade level to teach!
Before coming to Dublin Unified, I worked in Hayward for 7 years. There, I taught a year of 3rd and 4th/5th Combination class, Bilingual Kindergarten for 5 years and Mainstream Kindergarten for 1 year.
Upon moving to the Dublin Unified School District, I taught 2nd grade for two years and Kindergarten for another two years at Dougherty Elementary School.
This is my 8th year at Kolb as a Kindergarten Teacher and I am honored to be working here, with your children!
I grew up in Pleasanton and am now living in the tri-valley area with my wonderful husband and
two little girls!
My education...I went to school at California State University, Hayward-East Bay, and obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies with Minors in Music and Spanish in 2000. I was also awarded my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from Cal. State Hayward (Dec. 2001), and completed my Masters Degree in Curriculum Development with an emphasis in Children's Literature (2004).
