Mental Health Counseling
-
DHS contracts with outside agencies who provide us with MFT counseling interns to help serve the personal counseling needs of our students. This year we have counseling interns from Horizons Family Counseling, AXIS Community Health, and The Hume Center. The counseling interns typically see students for a maximum of 8-10 sessions, and are generally not able to see students who are also being seen by an outside provider.
If you are concerned about a student and feel they would benefit from confidential personal counseling, please contact the student’s DHS counselor to do a referral.
