Parcel Tax Oversight Committee
In May 2019, the citizens of Dublin approved Measure E, a local parcel tax for a period of nine (9) years, beginning July 1, 2019 at the rate of $96 per parcel. Measure E passed without increasing the existing tax rate and to maintain high quality education for all grades by sustaining academic achievement in math, science, reading, writing, and utilizing technology; supporting engineering/medicine/biotechnology academies; attracting/retaining highly qualified teachers; and maintaining school libraries, and current instructional materials/technology. Measure E requires the District to form an independent Citizens Oversight Committee whose responsibility will be to monitor the spending of Measure E funds and report their findings to the community. In addition, annual independent audits are mandatory. The oversight committee will be the "Parcel Tax Oversight Committee" (also known as PTOC). The PTOC has been established by Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the Dublin Unified School District. If you are interested in applying for a future position on the Parcel Tax Oversight Committee, please click on the link below for information on the application process.
