    Celebrate Banned Book Week

Banned Books Week 2019, the annual celebration of the freedom to read, will be held September 22-28. The theme of this year’s event is “Censorship Leaves Us in the Dark. Keep the Light On!”

Banned Books Week is the most important opportunity during the year for advocates — publishers, booksellers, librarians, educators, journalists, and readers — to explain why we must defend everyone’s right to choose what they want to read and view. The Banned Books Week Coalition will support indie bookstores’ celebration with programming ideas, promotional materials, and other resources available
    at bannedbooksweek.org.

    BoxTops for Education
Fallon Middle School collects BoxTops for Education. These labels are worth 10 cents each and can add up to thousands of dollars, if we all collect them. They are located on mnay products your family uses on a daily basis. You may drop them off in your student's English/Core class, the office or the library. We use the funds collected from this fundraiser to purchase more books for the library.
    eBooks from the Dublin Library
Downloadable to: Nook, Kindle, iPads, tablets and many other eReaders on the market. Your library supplies digital media from Overdrive, EBSCO and several other providers, as well as links to sites that offer free access to e-books.
Click on "Dublin Library" on the left toolbar for more details.
