Welcome to Trigonometry. The primary goal of this course is for each student to acquire a solid understanding of trigonometry and its applications in the real world. The secondary goal is for students to develop a deeper understanding of Algebra 2 concepts presented last year; logarithmic functions, conic sections and sequences/series. The goals of the Trigonometry teacher are the success of every student in this course and the preparation of every student for the next math course. During the first semester, we will study Trigonometry; trig ratios, solving triangle problems, trig graphs and trig identities. During the second semester, we will study logarithmic functions, conic relations, sequence and series, statistics, parametric functions and polar graphs. Each unit’s assignment sheet, created and agreed on by the Trigonometry teachers, is available on your teacher’s website.
