Tony Cavalleri

Mr. Cavalleri was born and raised in Redding, CA. He was fortunate to have attended public schools with strong and diverse music programs. When he began singing in the choir at Parsons Middle School it was a great opportunity to explore music, and he made lifelong friends through participation in Concert Choir, Jazz Choir, and Show Choir. When he attended Enterprise High School he began playing the saxophone in his sophomore year. He was a member of the Concert Choir, Jazz Choir, Show Choir, and Concert Band throughout his high school years. 

Mr. Cavalleri attended San Diego State University where he earned his Bachelors of Music with an emphasis in Music Education. He performed with a variety of college ensembles, and as a member of the SDSU Opera Company he performed in productions of Gianni Schicchi and Aaron Copland's The Tender Land. After earning his Bachelor of Muisc, Mr. Cavalleri attended SDSU to earn his teaching credential. He worked at a few schools in the San Diego area before relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area for a full-time job with the Antioch Unified School District. Before joining DUSD, he was teaching Band, Orchestra, and Choir in the San Mateo-Foster City School District. 

Mr. Cavalleri has performed with a variety of professional organizations including the San Diego Master Chorale, Lamplighters Music Theatre Company, and the San Francisco Symphony Chorus. 

Mr. Cavalleri and his family reside in Dublin, and he is happy to be teaching in this great community where he lives. Mr. Cavalleri is very happy to be working with the students at Fallon Middle School, and he is looking forward to many years of making great music!
