Frederiksen Elementary recently purchased over $2,000 worth of picture books in multiple languages for our students who would like to explore literature in languages other than English. Our Scholastic Book Fair was a huge success thanks to our awesome Fred community! Many thanks also to our fantastic volunteers who work hard for our library program!
Fred Students got to experience picture books using Novel Effect. They loved it and we plan on using again later in the year. I highly recommend this free app to enhance your read alouds!
Our Six Flags Read to Succeed program has begun! Fred students can earn a free one day ticket for the 2020 season by reading six additional hours between now and the end of February. Reading logs are available outside the library door.MRS. SEVILLA GOT TO MEET AUTHOR MAC BARNETT!
