Many of you may already know me from kindergarten, and I am so excited to be on this new adventure with you in 2nd grade. I actually grew up in Dublin and I am very happy to be living and working in my hometown. I have been teaching at John Green since it opened, and over the years have enjoyed teaching both Kindergarten and 2nd grade. As a teacher and parent at John Green, I have had the pleasure of meeting many wonderful families over the years. I look forward to another amazing year with you!

I have been married for 15 years and have two children, Dallas and Brooklyn. Dallas is a 5th grader, and some of you may already know my daughter Brooklyn, who is also a second grader here at John Green.  In my spare time I love attending my children's sports and dance events (which keeps me very busy). I also enjoy doings crafts, house projects/decorating, and traveling.  My family's favorite vacation spots are Disnley World, Disneyland, and Hawaii.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your summer. Before school on Tuesday, I will have boxes outside my door for you to drop off the following donations from the Suggested Supply  List (copy paper, paper towels, Kleenex, baby wipes, Avery labels, glue sticks, and Ziploc bags). Please refer to the Important Information for the New School Year page for the complete list.

I look forward to meeting you on Tuesday morning!
