Fallon Middle School At Capacity
April 11, 2017
Fallon Middle School has reached capacity for the remainder of the 2016-17 school year and the 2017-18 school year, per guidelines revised by the Dublin Unified Board of Trustees on February 28, 2017.
Trustees revised the previous cap for Fallon and approved the implementation of the following diversion protocols (listed below) at the February 28 meeting.
Middle School Diversion Protocols starting April 12, 2017:
New 6th, 7th and 8th grade students enrolling in DUSD for the 2017-18 school year with an address in the Fallon Middle School boundary area on April 12, 2017 or later, will be diverted to Wells Middle School.
New 5th grade students in the Fallon attendance area (Dougherty, Green, Kolb and Amador) enrolled in school on April 12, 2017 or later will also be attending Wells Middle School in the 2017-18 school year.
All 5th grade students who live in the Fallon boundaries and are currently attending Fallon feeder schools (Kolb, Green, Amador and Dougherty) will be attending Fallon Middle School unless they enrolled on April 12, 2017 or later. No current Fallon students in the 2016-17 school year will be diverted.
Students Not Impacted by Diversion Protocols:
New 8th grade students enrolling in DUSD (from now until the end of this school year) with an address in the Fallon Middle School boundary area will not be diverted as Fallon Middle School currently has capacity for 8th graders and as they will be attending Dublin High School for the 2017-18 school year.
*Students who have previously been accepted via inter- or intra-district transfers whose families have been previously contacted by the District regarding their enrollment status are excluded from these protocols.
