Dublin Unified School District Investigating Land Acquisition

On Wednesday, February 14, 2018, Dublin Unified School District provided notice to the City of Dublin that it is investigating the acquisition of approximately 23 acres of land located at the southwest corner of Chancery Lane and Central Parkway, commonly known as the “Promenade.” The site is being analyzed for utilization as a future school location. The Promenade was included in multiple recommendations in the final report of the District’s Community Review Committee (CRC), which is available at the District’s website. The CRC recognized the Promenade as a high quality school location, although the Board of Trustees has not yet made any decision as to what grade configuration would be served by a school on the site. The District will be investigating the property, and any final decision about acquisition, or its specific future use, will be addressed at future meetings of the Board of Trustees. The Board looks forward to further engaging the community throughout this process.
