New Parent Portal Interface Provides Access to State Assessments
July 2, 2019
DUSD provides an online tool for parents and guardians to monitor how students are doing in school. The Infinite Campus Parent Portal allows parents and guardians to log in and access grades and assignments, view class attendance and read messages from your child’s teacher or school.
We are announcing that there is a new, easier to use Parent Portal in Infinite Campus. The old Parent Portal has been replaced (as of July 1) by a new Parent Portal. This new version makes it easier to use the Parent Portal on mobile devices and tablets. Directions on how to view the new Infinite Campus Parent Portal are attached.
One of the features in the new Parent Portal is the ability to see state assessment results for your child(ren). This includes the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) and the English Language Proficiency Assessment for California (ELPAC).
The State of California will no longer be providing paper copies of student assessment results for state assessments. This includes the end-of-year CAASPP testing and the English Learner assessment (ELPAC). Parents/guardians will access these reports through the district student information system. For DUSD, this is the new Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
If your child took the English Language Proficiency Assessment for California (ELPAC) in 2019, the results can now be found on the new Parent Portal. If your child participated in the CAASPP end-of-year testing, the results will be available on the new Parent Portal. IMPORTANT: 2019 CAASPP results are preliminary and could change when the state finalizes the test results over the summer.
Please review the attached document for more details.
