Ellen Rebosura Named Purchasing Manager for the Dublin Unified School District 

Dublin, CA – September 9, 2019 During the regularly scheduled Board meeting held on August 1, the Dublin Unified School District (DUSD) Board of Trustees unanimously approved the appointment of Ellen Rebosura as Purchasing Manager for the Dublin Unified School District. Ms. Rebosura brings over 19 years of experience in the Purchasing industry with the last 10 in education. She comes to Dublin Unified from Pleasanton Unified School District where she served as the Coordinator of Purchasing, Warehouse and Graphics, overseeing all facets of purchasing, warehouse, and their in-house graphics department.  

During her final year in Pleasanton, Ms. Rebosura managed a staff of 12 employees and facilitated a combined total of 23 bids and requests for proposals for various departments. She was also a key contributor in migrating Pleasanton Unified into the ESCAPE business application.

Prior to her stay in Pleasanton, Ms. Rebosura worked for the San Lorenzo Unified School District as the Purchasing Manager for Business Services where she resolved volumes of back-logs and numerous open items. She was the driver behind key changes that improved workflows in the department. She put order in District processes and raised the bar in ensuring staff performed at the highest level. 

Ms. Rebosura is also knowledgeable in contract terms and conditions which play a critical role in routine and non routine procurement responsibilities including, back to school ordering, summer bulk ordering, and textbook adoptions.
