NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
FINDING OF SUFFICIENT INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS
Notice is hereby given that the Dublin Unified School District Governing Board will hold a public hearing to determine whether each pupil in each school of the school district, including English Learners, has sufficient textbooks or instructional materials, or both, that are aligned to the academic content standards adopted by the State Board of Education, and consistent with the content and cycles of the curriculum frameworks adopted by the State Board, in the subjects of history-social science, English language arts, science, mathematics, and world language. As part of the hearing, the Governing Board will also determine the availability of laboratory science equipment as applicable to science laboratory courses offered in grades 9 to 12, inclusive. Parents, teachers, bargaining unit leaders, and members of the community are encouraged to participate. If you are aware of any students in DUSD who does not have the technology, digital access, or materials necessary to participate in all assigned classes, please contact the student's school principal. The hearing will be held during the virtual Dublin Unified School District Board meeting on September 22, 2020 beginning at 5:30pm.
