Dear Parents,

Happy Friday! This week, we were busy learning about perimeter and area, informational writing, fables and fairy tales,  Charlotte's Web,  and Native Americas.  We also took a field trip to the Kids Against Hunger warehouse and packed food for over 3,000 children, learned about C.H.I.R.P. during Project Cornerstone, participated in a fun engineering challenge, and had our last Jr. Achievement lesson with Mrs. Miyashiro and Mrs. Hom.
Our Engineering Fair is coming soon.  This is open for anyone who would like to participate (It is not mandatory).  Registration is due by March 8th.  Please see more information here...
Next week is Read-In week! Please see the schedule below.  If you can share a book with our class, please email me with a day/time that works best for you.  We LOVE parent readers!!
I hope everyone has a relaxing and enjoyable weekend!
